Dexter Goosey, age 70, of Bertha Court in Irvine passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at the Compassionate Care Center.  He was born May 18, 1947 in Lee County and was the son of the late James and Rhoda Spencer Goosey.  He was a retired Allen Company employee and attended the Pine Grove Pentecostal Assembly.  He is survived by:

4 Grandchildren:  Jeremiah Spivey, Alicia Arnold, Noah Rettburg and Kara Rettburg

1 Great Grandchild:  Amelia Spivey

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Edward Goosey and Lenny Mosley.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 15, 2 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Sidney Sparks, Jr. and Bro. Kevin Phillips.  Burial will be at the Cobb Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Saturday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
